Happy Client Shares Backyard Remodel in Culver City, CA
Before and after transformation for the Culver City Backyard Remodel
What began as a plain, outdated backyard in Culver City has been completely transformed into a luxurious outdoor retreat. The original space lacked functionality, with aging concrete, patchy grass, and no defined entertainment areas. Green Advisor Inc. stepped in to design and build a custom solution tailored to the homeowner’s lifestyle. This complete backyard renovation included the installation of a brand-new swimming pool, premium artificial turf for low-maintenance greenery, and a custom-built raised deck made from durable Trex materials. A modern fire pit was added for cozy evenings, along with a wall-mounted outdoor TV to create the perfect entertainment hub. The project also featured sleek custom fencing for privacy and a built-in barbecue area for seamless outdoor dining. The result is a dramatic before-and-after transformation—turning an unused yard into a multi-functional, resort-style oasis that blends beauty, comfort, and long-lasting materials.
Transforming Outdoor Living into a Luxury Retreat
At Green Advisor, we turn vision into reality. This complete backyard renovation in Culver City was designed to maximize space, comfort, and modern functionality. From demolition to final detail, every inch was carefully planned and executed for long-lasting outdoor living.
Planning & Design
The process began with a full site assessment and client consultation. The homeowners wanted a functional and beautiful space perfect for entertainment, family time, and relaxation. Our team created a comprehensive design that integrated every requested element while ensuring flow and usability.
Pool Installation
The centerpiece of this backyard is the custom in-ground swimming pool. We handled the excavation, steel reinforcement, plumbing, and shotcrete application. After proper curing, we applied a high-quality plaster finish, installed lighting, and ensured a smooth water system setup for safe, efficient enjoyment.
Raised Trex Deck with Built-in Features
A custom-raised Trex deck was built adjacent to the pool, providing a durable and low-maintenance surface. This area includes a wall-mounted TV, built-in fire pit, and seating zone for hosting guests or enjoying peaceful evenings outdoors.
Artificial Turf & Irrigation
To create a lush yet easy-to-maintain lawn, we installed premium artificial turf. Beneath the turf, we added a high-efficiency drainage and irrigation system to manage water runoff and maintain structure. The result is a green, clean yard—year-round.
Barbecue Station & Outdoor Kitchen
A custom-built BBQ area was added, complete with counters, storage, and a modern grill setup. This outdoor kitchen makes it easy to entertain and cook outdoors while staying connected with guests in the pool or on the deck.
Custom Fencing for Privacy
We installed modern custom fencing to frame the entire yard, enhance privacy, and elevate the aesthetic. The new layout ensures seamless transitions between sections of the yard, providing security and visual harmony.
Before, During & After
We documented the full transformation process — from the original backyard to each construction phase, all the way to the final reveal. Before and after images highlight the dramatic difference and attention to detail our team provides on every project.
